Walter Ross

Services for Walter James Ross were held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of
Southern with the Rev. Charles Haley, Bro. Eugene Love, and Dr. Calvin Phelps
officiating.  Burial was in Transport Cemetery, Dodson.

Ross, 75, of Winnfield died at 2:10 p.m. Tuesday, December 2, 1986 in Humana
Hospital.

Survivors include his wife, Phama P. Ross of Winnfield; three sons, Jimmie
Ross of Bastrop, Daniel Ross of Atlanta, Ga., and Rodger Ross of Texas City,
Texas; one daughter, Denise Cranford of Baton Rouge; one sister, Mary Walker
of Winnfield; 15 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
