Roshto, 77, of Hornbeck, died Saturday, March 18, 1972 at the Veterans Administration Hospital near Alexandria after a short illness. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Monday with graveside rites at the New Hope Cemetery at Verda. The Rev. F. M. Belsho officiated with services under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. A native of Grant Parish, Mr. Roshto was a veteran of World War I and a member of Prewitt's Chapel at Hornbeck. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ruth Roshto of Hornbeck; six sons, Buck Roshto of Pineville, Mitchell Roshto of Natchitoches, Herbert Roshto of Montgomery, Louis Bert Roshto and Reed Roshto, both of Hornbeck, Joe Roshto, Glen Roshto of DeRidder; four daughters, Mrs. Ruth Landers of Verda, Mrs. Henry Mitchell, Jr., Mrs. B. R. Brown, and Miss Janie Roshto of Hornbeck; one sister, Mrs. Lillie Perkins of Verda; 17 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
