Henry J. Rowe, 78, Succumbs; Rites Sunday

Henry Jefferson Rowe, 78, of Goldonna, died early Friday morning, December
24, 1971 in the Heritage Manor Nursing Home following a long illness. 

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Goldonna Assembly of God
Church with the Rev. A. S. Davis officiating, assisted by the Rev. D. E.
Stroud.  Burial was in the Goldonna Cemetery.

Survivors include his widow; a son, Dan Doyle Rowe of Long Beach, Calif.; two
daughters, Mrs. Thelma Gunter of Jonesboro and Mrs. Lyneane Hornsby of
Shreveport; one brother, Vernon Rowe of Goldonna; three sisters, Mrs. Tressie
Mains and Mrs. Mae Browning, both of Goldonna, and Mrs. Pearl Clay of
Quitman, seven grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
