H. M. Rowell, 84, Dies; Interment Held At Lucky

Hassel Melton Rowell, 84, of Winnfield, died Monday, January 21, 1972.

The deceased was a native of Bienville Parish and a member of the Church of
Christ.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Edmonds Funeral Home in
Jonesboro with the Rev. Bill Anderson officiating.  Burial was in the Little
Hope Cemetery in Lucky.

Survivors include 10 sons, Theodore Rowell, Ted rowell, Travis Rowell, Thee
Rowell, and Thell Rowell, all of Winnfield, Talton Rowell of Jonesboro, T. J.
Rowell of Urania, Truman Rowell of Port Allen, Tracey Rowell of Pineville, and
Thurman Rowell of Weatherford, Texas; two brothers, Nelson Rowell and Wilson
Rowell, both of Bienville; two sisters, Mrs. Jane Murphy of Bienville and
Mrs. Mollie Mathews of Castor; 20 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren.
