Roy Harper To Be Buried Friday At Hurricane Grove

Roy Harper, 61, retired native of Winn Parish, who died at his home in the
Tannehill Community Thursday, May 31, will be buried Friday at Hurricane Grove
Cemetery.  Funeral services will be conducted at the Hurricane Grove Baptist
Church at 3 p.m. with the Rev. W. L. Fussell and the Rev. Ed Smith
officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral
Home.

Mr. Harper is survived by his wife, Mrs. Roy Harper, of Tannehill; one son,
Howard Harper, Texas City, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. J. B. Wise of Dodson and
Mrs. R. P. Thomas of Rt. 3, Winnfield; one brother, Troy Harper of Joyce, and
17 grandchildren.
