Left Here Monday, Succumbed Shortly After Reaching Home The news of the sudden death of W. L. Rue which occurred at his home in Lake Arthur early Wednesday morning came as distinct shock to his many friends here. Mr. Rue spent last weekend here and left Monday for Lake Arthur. He stopped overnight en route arriving home at 12 o"clock Tuesday night and died about thirty minutes later of heart failure. Immediately upon receipt of the news of Mr. Rue's death Mr. Max Thieme left for Lake Arthur and accompanied the body back to St. Maurice where interment was made. Mr. Rue for the past several years has operated a shingle mill at St. Maurice and has hosts of friends in this parish whom he has made by his congeniality and friendly spirit. He left St. Maurice early in the fall to make his home in Lake Arthur where he established a business. He leaves a wife and five children.
