Funeral Services For Mrs. Long P. Russ Held Saturday

Mrs. Lona P. Russ, 68, of Winnfield, died last Friday in a local hospital
after a long illness.  Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday at
Southern Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Luther L. Booth, pastor of the First
Methodist Church officiating.  Burial was in Sardis Cemetery.

Mrs. Russ was a native of Crossett, Ark., and had made her home here for the
past nine years.  Survivors are two sons, A. C. Russ of Winnfield and H. R.
Russ of Hayward, Calif.; three grandchildren; two brothers, Ossie Maloy,
Crossett, Ark., Eddie Malloy of Lexington, Miss.; one sister, Mrs. W. D.
Salone, Montrose, Ark.
