Niece of Mrs. S. J. Harper Dies in El Dorado

Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Ryan, 57, who died at her home in El Dorado,
Ark., were held Thursday of last week.

Burial was made in Woodlawn Cemetery.  Mrs. Ryan was shot through the head
with a 32 caliber pistol.  Coroner Maurice Hall after an investigation
pronounced her death a case of suicide.

Members of the family where she lived said the deceased had been in ill health
for some time.  She had recently returned home from a hospital.  She is
survived by her aunt, Mrs. S. J. Harper, of Winnfield, and other relatives.
