W. W. Rafield, Jr., Former Winn Resident, Dies

Mr. W. W. Rafield, Jr., former resident of Winnfield, died of a sudden illness
at his home in Jackson, Miss., Saturday, May 5th.  Funeral services were held
in St. Peter's Catholic Church at 2 p.m. Monday, May 7th, with burial
following in Jackson.

The Rafields lived in Winnfield for about 15 years during which time Mr.
Rafield was an employee of Tremont Gulf Railway.  They moved to Jackson about
three years ago.  Recently, Mr. Rafield opened a coin shop in Jackson
which he operated at the time of his death.

He is survived by his widow, two daughters, Miss Mary Louise Rafield of
Dallas, Texas, and Mrs. Edward Isper and three grandchildren of Ft. Worth,
Texas and a sister of Jackson, Miss.
