C. Simon, Sr. Expires; Burial At Bethlehem

Funeral services for Clarence Simon, Sr., 64, of Winnfield, were held at 2
p.m. Sunday in Southern Funeral Home Chapel here with the Rev. Lonnie Fogger
officiating, assisted by Mrs. Walker and Rev. Grice.

Burial was in the Bethlehem Cemetery near here.

Mr. Simon died Thursday, January 17, 1974 in the Veterans Hospital at N.
Little Rock, Ark., after a long illness.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lillian Simon of Winnfield; two sons,
Clarence Simon, Jr., of Buras, and Larry Simon of Winnfield, and a daughter,
Kathryn Sue Simon of Winnfield; a brother, Monroe Simon of Winnsboro; two
sisters, Mrs. Ellen Smith and Mrs. Nancy Nugent, both of Winnfield, and two
grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Doug Prescott, Junior Howard, Dobbie Berry, Woody Bilyeu, L.
C. Ingles, Sr., Gene Sweat, Roy Dunn, and Gary Higgs.
