Death Claims Mrs. Pat Smith Here May 3RD

Funeral Services Were Held Wednesday Afternoon

Mrs. Pat Smith died at her home here Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock following
a long illness.  She had been in ill health for more than 20 years.

Funeral services were conducted at the home Wednesday afternoon with Rev.
Alwin Stokes and Rev. G. A. Morgan officiating.  Interment was in the Corinth
Cemetery.  

Mrs. Smith was a member of the Baptist Church.  Before her marriage to Mr.
Smith she was Miss Ida Goff of Alexandria.

Surviving are her husband; five sons, Charles Arnold, Jim, Norwood, Huey, and
Bill, and one grandson, Bobby Kornegay, all of Winnfield; three sisters, Mrs.
Laura Cannon of Alexandria, Mrs. Macie Cannon of Centerpoint, and Mrs. Mary
Brantom of Pineville; and two brothers, Acie Goff of Pineville and Cornelius
Goff, of Alexandria.
