J. H. Stroud, Mt. Zion Native, Dies


Funeral services for James Henry Stroud of Alexandria were held at 2 p.m.
Tuesday, June 5, 1973 in the Mt. Zion Church with Rev. Elmer J. Pinder, Rev.
Roy L. Moore, and Rev. C. W. Jones officiating.  Burial was in the Union Hill
Baptist Cemetery (Mt. Zion Cemetery, Wheeling) near Montgomery under direction
of Hixson Brothers of Alexandria.

Mr. Stroud was a native of the Mt. Zion Community.

Among survivors is a nephew, John Elbert Stroud of Route 1, Montgomery.
