W. Shively, 81, Succumbs; Rites At Siloam James Wilson Shively, 81, of Gansville, passed away Monday, May 7, 1973, in Jackson Parish Hospital after a long illness. He was a native of Winn Parish, an inactive deacon of Siloam Baptist Church, a retired carpenter, and a veteran of World War I. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Siloam Baptist Church with Rev. Glyn Mixon officiating, assisted by Rev. Billy Smithart and Rev. Louis Moffett. Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Minnie Prestridge Shively of Dodson; one son, James L. Shively of Dodson; three daughters, Mrs. Geraldine Taylor and Mrs. LaFaye Fitzgerald, both of Dodson, and Mrs. Volena Coon of West Monroe; a brother, Hardy Davis Shively of Jonesboro; a sister, Mrs. Lula Outain of New Orleans; 12 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
