Last Rites For Winn Native Held In Delhi

Mrs. Laura Long Sheppared 60, a native of Winn Parish, died at her home in
Delhi Sunday, June 14, at 2:30 p.m. after a long illness.

Funeral services were held Monday, June 15, at a funeral home in Delhi with
Reverends Hogan and Ward officiating.  Burial was in a Delhi Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, C. E. Sheppard, and a daughter of Delhi; four
sisters, Mrs. Ethel Whittington, Mrs. John Bassett of Route 2, Winnfield, Mrs.
George Williams of Georgetown and Mrs. Woodrow Melton of Packton.

Mrs. Sheppard was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Rich T. Long of Winn
Parish.
