Mrs. Henry Shaw, 81, Succumbs; Rites Thursday

Mrs. Henry Shaw, 81, Route 3, Winnfield, died at 9 p.m. June 15, in Winnfield
General Hospital.  She was a member of the Calvin Baptist Church and a native
of Jackson Parish, but lived most of her life in Winn Parish.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 Thursday in the Chapel of Southern
Funeral Home with interment in the Winnfield Cemetery.  Officiating at the
funeral rites will be Rev. T. E. Williams of Longville, La., and Rev. Charles
D. Thornton, pastor of Calvin Baptist Church.

Survivors include (sons?) Thomas J. Shaw of Princeton, La., Conley Shaw, North
Little Rock, Ark., Henry W. Shaw, Atlanta, La., two daughters, Mrs. William
H. Bradford, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Mrs. J. M. Riffe, Winnfield; one
brother, Mr. Crawford Rogers of Winnfield, one sister, Mrs. Dena Matthews of
Jackson, Miss., seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Pallbearers include Carl J. Rogers, Huey P. Rogers, Leslie Frederick, Jay
Leonard, Elmo Frazier, and Frank L. Shaw.
