M. Stone Succumbs; Buried in Texas Funeral services for Robert Lee Stone, 69, of South State Line, were held at 4 p.m. Monday at the East Memorial Chapel, Minden, with Mr. Ray Fleet officiating. Burial was in Texarkana, Texas. Pallbearers were to be Jim Beauchamp, Pierce Harris, E. A. Taylor, J. T. Ramsey, John Measel, F. W. Duke, E. G. Lamport, and Oscar Linhart. Mr. Stone died Saturday morning in a Shreveport hospital. He was a veteran of World War I, a Mason, and a member of the Beech Street Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Stone; three daughters, Mrs. E. N. Lamport of Boulder, Colo., Mrs. James P. Grigson of Dallas, Texas, Mrs. Thomas P. Clarke of New Orleans, La.; his mother, Mrs. D. M. Stone of Winnfield, La.; four sisters, Mrs. Josie Dickerson of Shreveport, La., Mrs. Eunice Shannon of Dallas, Texas, Mrs. Odis Moore of Jonesboro, La., and Miss Mae Stone of Winnfield, La.; two brothers, Thomas S. Stone of Waveland, Miss., Barton W. Stone of New London, Texas, and six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
