Mrs. Catherine G. Saffel

Services for Mrs. Catherine Guin Saffel, 25, of Route 1, Campti, La., were
held Tuesday, October 18, 1983, at Rockett Nettles Funeral Home in Coushatta,
La., with burial in Campti Baptist Cemetery.  Reverend Charlie Bates
officiated.

Mrs. Saffel died at 4:05 a.m. Friday, October 14, one half mile south of
Coushatta on U. S. Highway 71.

She was a housewife and a Baptist.  She was born June 4, 1954 in Winnfield,
La., the daughter of Andrew and Orita Tarrance Guin.

Survivors include her husband and one daughter, Bobby Royce Saffel and Christy
Nicole Saffel, of Campti; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Guin of Weirgate,
Texas; four sisters, Barbara Korne and Wanda Roush, both of Winnfield, La.,
Sue Williams of Newton, Texas, and Nina Duck of Sarepta, La., and a brother,
Rodger Guin of Winnfield.
