Carson Sanders Dies After Accident

Funeral services for Carson Sanders, 63, of Goldonna, were held at 2 p.m.
Saturday at the Goldonna Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Kit Hawthorne
and the Rev. Huey White officiating.

Burial was in Goldonna Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Homoe
of Winnfield.

Mr. Sanders died Thursday, December 30, 1976 at the Martin Timber Company
in Castor, after a logging accident.

He was a native of Winn Parish and a member of the Goldonna Assembly of God
Church.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Dorothy Sanders of Goldonna; three sons,
Bill Sanders, Clyde Sanders, and Jerry Sanders, all of Goldonna; three
brothers, Ebb Sanders and Jack Sanders, both of Winnfield, and Clarence
Sanders of Jonesboro; three sisters, Lele Finch of Vicksburg, Miss., Mrs.
Mattie Lou Bird of Houston, Tex., and Mrs. Estelle Bobet of New Orleans; and
eight grandchildren.
