Dewitt R. Sanders

Services for Dewitt R. Sanders, 73, of Ruston, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday
in Spears Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Anger officiating.

Burial was in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Mr. Sanders died Monday, October 19, 1981 in a Ruston hospital after a short
illness.

He was a former resident of Winnfield.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Estelle T. Sanders of Ruston; two sons, Ralph
Sanders of West Covina, Calif., and Randy Sanders of Monroe; three daughters,
Mrs. Willa D. LaForme of Houston, Mrs. Shirley Diolette of Nederland, Texas,
and Mrs. Beverly Thurow of Ruston; three sisters, Mrs. Avis Melton of
Winnfield, Mrs. Elva Mixon of Atlanta, and Mrs. Jessie Mae Franks of Sicily
Island; 13 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
