Mrs. G. Sanders, 67, Succumbs; Rites Tuesday

Mrs. Gertie Sanders, 67, of West Monroe, died Sunday night, November 13, 1966,
in the Glenwood Hospital after a short illness.  Funeral services were held
Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Monroe and burial was in
Transport Cemetery near Dodson.

A native of Gaars Mill and Dodson, Mrs. Sanders had resided in Monroe for the
past 18 years.  She was a member of the Highland Baptist Church in Monroe.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. S. C. Frick of Tulsa, Okla., Mrs. J.
V. Simpson, West Monroe, one brother, Sherwood Lee of Seattle, Wash.; and
one sister, Mrs. Bernice Cockerham of Winnfield; 5 grandchildren and one
great grandchild.
