Smith, 73, Dies; Burial At Eros Cemetery Funeral services for Mrs. Pauline Busbice Smith, 73, of Montgomery, a former Jackson Parish school teacher, were held Thursday at First Baptist Church in Montgomery where she was a member, with the Revs. Roy Moore, J. O. Dumas, and C. S. Cadwallender officiating. A second service was held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Salem Baptist Church in Eros. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mrs. Smith died at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, 1971 at Rapides General Hospital in Alexandria after a long illness. She was a member of Pioneer Chapter 183 of the Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include her husband, J. Allen Smith of Montgomery; a foster son, Jackson W. Rushing with the U. S. Army at Ft. Hood, Texas; one brother, Emory Busbice of Eros; and a number of nieces and nephews.
