Schmidt Is Buried Here Last Sunday The Former Jennie Mae DeLoach Dies in Chicago Funeral services for Mrs. R. J. Schmidt (Jennie Mae DeLoach), who died in Chicago, Ill., Saturday morning, July 16, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident were held from the First Methodist Church here Sunday at 5 p.m. The body arrived at 4:20 by Rock Island railway. Rev. G. A. Morgan, pastor, and Rev. Alwin Stokes, Presbyterian minister, conducted the last rites. Interment was made in the local cemetery. Mrs. Schmidt was a native of Winnfield. Soon after her marriage three years ago she went to Chicago to make her home. She is the daughter of the late L. N. DeLoach and the late Martha E. DeLoach. Survivors are two brothers, Blackie DeLoach of the U. S. Navy and Grisham DeLoach of Winnfield; three sisters, Mrs. Lela Scott and Mrs. R. J. Crowe, of Chicago, and Miss Lula DeLoach of Winnfield.
