Final Rites

Odell Scott died in an Alexandria hospital November 14, from injuries received
in an automobile accident.  He was born July 3, 1943 in Pineville.

Last rites were conducted November 20 at 2 p.m. in Mt. Olive Baptist Church
with 
Rev. B. J. Washington, pastor, officiating.  Burial was in the Winnfield
Colored Cemetery under direction of Ben Johnson's Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Erma Morgan Scott and four step children; mother,
Annie M. Scott, and father, Otis Scott; seven sisters, Daisy Lett, Lilenteen
Scott, Merlene Harris, Mrs. Odie M. Thomas, Marva Scott, and Veronica W.
Scott, all of Winnfield; two brothers, Willie Earl Scott and Bobby R. Scott,
both of Winnfield.
