Scarborough Reported Killed In England Mrs. R. R. Dennis, Mrs. J. M. Hyde, and Miss Bonnie Scarborough were notified this week that their nephew, Lt. John Scarborough, 27, of Lake Charles had been killed in England on March 16. They left Monday to be with the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Scarborough of Lake Charles. Lt. Scarborough and his parents resided in Winnfield a number of years ago and at that time his father was a deputy sheriff in Winn. Lt. Scarborough had arrived in England in January and has only been on a few missions. He leaves his wife of Slidell, La., two brothers, Major Stanley Scarborough and Major Edwin Scarborough, both in Italy; and one sister, Mrs. Frances Watson, of Lake Charles.
