Last Rites Held For George Sanders At Dodson, Dec. 26th

George Sanders, about 85 years of age, died Wednesday night, December 23, 1936
in a Shreveport hospital after having been ill for several weeks.  Mr.
Sanders, a native of Germany, came to the United States 60 years ago and had
been a resident of Dodson area for 22 years.  Mr. Sanders was a member of the
Lutheran Church.

Surviving are his widow and two sons, Joe Sanders of Dodson and Gabriel
Sanders of Detroit, Mich.; two daughters, Mrs. Benedict Seals, Detroit, Mich.,
and Mrs. Leonard DeMarr of Detroit, Mich., and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday by Rev. C. J. White of Hodge.  The
remains were interred at the Zion Hill Cemetery.
