Shaw At Winnfield May 3 Funeral services for Henry I. Shaw, 84, retired farmer of Route 3, Winnfield, who died in the Riley Rest Home in Winnsboro May 2, after several years illness, were held at the Southern Funeral Home Chapel, Winnfield, May 3 at 2 p.m. Rev. Carter Hall of Calvin and Rev. Clyde Shaw of Alexandria officiated. Burial was in the Winnfield Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers were Dean A. O. French of Louisiana State University, Frank Shaw, Jr., Rayford Shaw, Charlton Shaw, Carl and Pete Rodgers. A native of Grant Parish, Mr. Shaw moved to Winn when quite young. He was married to Miss Bertha Rodgers of Winn Parish, who survives him. He also leaves two daughters, Mrs. Edna Mae Bradford of Lake Charles and Mrs. Evelyn Lemmons of Napa, Calif.; three sons, Thomas Julian of Princeton, La., Conley of the Veterans Administration, N. Little Rock, Ark., and Wayne Shaw, Atlanta; two sisters, Mrs. R. E. Grigsby and Miss Pearl Shaw, of Baton Rouge; two brothers, Hargis of Shreveport and Ernie of Montgomery.
