Mrs. J. H. Shaw

Mrs. J. H. Shaw, wife of general freight and passenter agent of A. L. & M.
railway company, 458 « Atkins Avenue, Shreveport, La., died at a
hospital at Hattiesburg, Miss., early Friday morning and was buried in
Shreveport Saturday afternoon.

Mrs. Shaw had been taking treatment at the Hattiesburg hospital for the last
three weeks.  Death was due to complications of diseases.

She was 43 years old and is survived by her husband and a son, Ralph Bernard
Shaw.  She is also survived by two sisters and three brothers.  They are
Mrs. W. M. Wallace, 220 Stoner Ave., Mrs. P. J. Becker, 147 Egan Street; T. M.
Crawford of Dallas, W. A. Crawford of Navasota, Texas, and J. E. Crawford, 200
Stoner Ave.

Mrs. Shaw was the daugghter of the late J. H. Crawford, former sheriff of Winn
Parish for a number of years.  She and her husband were married in Winnfield
and lived here during which time Mr. Shaw was General Freight and Passenger
Agent of the T. & G. Railway.
