Funeral of Little Avis Lavonne Shaw Held Here Tuesday

Funeral services were held here Tuesday for little Avis Lavonne Shaw, the baby
girl of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Shaw of Calvin.

The child who had been ill only a short while, would have reached her second
birthday Monday.

She is survived by her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Shaw of Calvin;
two sisters, Edna May and Evelyn Shaw, and three brothers, Julian, Wayne, and
Connely Shaw.

Interment was made in the local cemetery.  Rev. C. C. Wier conducted the
services.
