Mrs. Addie Shaw Dies; Burial At Mt. Zion

Addie Pearl Howell Shaw, 82, wife of C. E. Shaw, of Montgomery, died at 8:20
a. m. Thursday, March 10, 1966, in an Alexandria hospital.

Mrs. Shaw, who would have been 83 Friday, was a native of Grant Parish.  She
was a member of the First Methodist Church of Montgomery.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Mt. Zion Methodist Church
near Montgomery with Reverends John Kellogg, Lula Wardlow, and Carol Hammock
officiating.  Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern
Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Mrs. Shaw is survived by her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Harvey McIlvaine of
Lake Charles; a son, David C. Shaw of Lake Charles; two sisters, Mrs. C. E.
Tilton of Shreveport and Mrs. H. C. McIlwain of Columbia; and a brother, T. E.
Howell of Provencal.
