Sgt. Eileen Shaw, 44, Dies Jan. 24 In Alabama

Sgt. Eileen Shaw, 44, died Monday, January 24, 1972, after a lengthy illness.

A native of Winn Parish she was a dietician at the Army Hospital at Ft.
McClellan, Ala.  She had been a member of the Armed Service for 21 years.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Atlanta Methodist Church,
of which she was a member.  The Rev. George McVay officiated, assisted by the
Army chaplain of Ft. Polk.  Burial, with full military rites, followed in the
Atlanta Cemetery.

Survivors include five brothers, L. L. Shaw, R. O. Shaw, and W. A. Shaw, of
Atlanta, La., D. C. Shaw of Tullos, L. R. Shaw of Baytown, Texas, one sister,
Mrs. O. G. Neal of Atlanta, LA.
