Final Rites For Mrs. Eula Shaw At Mt. Zion Jan. 4

Mrs. Eula Strickland Shaw, 91, a native of the Mt. Zion Community near
Montgomery, and a resident of Winnfield for a number of years, died in a local
hospital at 10:15 p.m. January 2, 1968.  Her date of birth was August 3, 1876.

Funeral services were scheduled to be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 4,
in the Mt. Zion Methodist Church with the Revs. T. A. Brown and Fred Campbell
officiating.

Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral
Home of Winnfield, with grandsons serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Shaw is survived by five sons, Vesca Shaw, Alexandria, W. F. Shaw, Tyler,
Texas, Rev. Grafton Shaw, Winnfield, Wilburn A. Shaw, St. Francisville, La.,
and William B. Shaw, Gueydan, La.; three daughters, Mrs. Oscar A. Lovell and
Mrs. E. B. Barton, of Winnfield, and Mrs. A. C. Woolf of Lansing, Michigan;
and a large number of grandchildren, great, and great great grandchildren.
