Son Of Winn Resident Dies September 21

John Auburn Shaw, 61, postmaster and general store owner at Bentley, died at
10:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 21, 1966 at his home.

He is survived by his wife, Lois Lusted Shaw; two sons, Thomas A. Shaw of
Vidalia and Noble Shaw of Bentley; two daughters, Sandra S. Girouard of
Broussard and Landa S. Clements of Alexandria; five brothers, Vesca Shaw of
Alexandria, Grafton Shaw of Winnfield, Floyd Shaw of Tyler, Texas, Jack Shaw
of Gueydan, and Wilburn Shaw of St. Francisville; three sisters, Ruby S.
Barton and Lena S. Lovell of Winnfield and Omera S. Wolff of Lansing, Mich.;
his mother, Mrs. Eula Shaw of Winnfield, and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday in Hixson's chapel.  Burial was
in Oak Grove Cemetery.
