T. Shaw, 53, Dies Tues. After Brief Illness Jonathan T. Shaw, 53, of Atlanta died at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 6, 1968 after a brief illness. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday in the Atlanta Methodist Church with Rev. J. C. Rousseaux and Rev. Fred Campbell officiating. Interment will be in the Atlanta Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. A native of Atlanta, Mr. Shaw was employed for many years as bookkeeper for Milam's Stores after whiche he and his brother, Leonard Shaw, operated a grocery store in Atlanta until his health made it necessary to sale the business. He was a member of the Atlanta Methodist church and at the time of his death was an employee of the Louisiana Highway Department. Survivors include his wife, Annie Rai Shaw, of Atlanta, two sons, John Glynn Shaw and Donald Wayne Shaw, of Atlanta, one daughter, Mrs. Mary Beth Premeaux, Kingsville, Texas, five brothers, Leslie Shaw, Willard Shaw, Leonard Shaw, Odell Shaw, all of Atlanta, and Cecil Shaw of Tullos, two sisters, Mrs. O. G. Neal, Atlanta, Miss Eileen Shaw of Fort McClendon, Ala., his mother, Mrs. Lela Shaw of Atlanta and one granddaughter.
