Florence E. Shelton

Winnfield - Services for Florence Eileen Shelton will be at 10:30 a.m. today
in the chapel of Southern with Dr. Calvin Phelps and the Rev. Danny Keyes
officiating.  Burial will be in Brown Cemetery.

Mrs. Shelton, 81, of Winnfield died at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, 1994, in
Winn Parish Medical Center.

She was a native of San Angelo, Texas and was a member of Crossroads Baptist
Church and Atlanta Senior Citizens Group.

Survivors include four sons, Cloy Shelton, Pat Shelton, David Shelton and
Richard Shelton, all of Winnfield; six daughters, Cele Thompson, Jettie Moore,
Kay White, Linda Weatherford and Lawanda Porter, all of Winnfield, and Connie
Ferguson of Auburn, Ma.; 36 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and two
great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be John Dewayne Collins, Stephen Shelton, Ronny Moore, Johnny
White, Frank Shelton, Bruce Weatherford, Tommy Porter and Clint Shelton.

Friends may call from 8 a.m. until service time.
