Funeral Rites For Winn Native Held At Sharon

Funeral services for Mrs. Emmer Lee Shelton, 78, of Olla, were Monday at 3
p.m. at the Sharon Baptist Church near Sikes, with the Rev. Nathan Jones
officiating.  Burial was in the church cemetery.

She was the widow of the late John Shelton of the Sharon Community.

Survivors include four sons, J. R. Shelton of Olla, J. B. Shelton of Richmond,
Ind., John J. Shelton and J. Y. Shelton, both of Monroe; three daughters,
Mrs. Esteller Alger of Olla, Mrs. Louise Bassett of Union, Miss., Mrs. Jerlene
Wisinger of West Monroe; two brothers, Floyd Eubanks of Rayville and James
Eubanks of Winnsboro; 32 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.
