Mrs. J. T. Shelton Dies; Interment At Sardis Sunday

Mrs. Ellen Jones Shelton, 67, of Winnfield died Saturday, October 26, 1968 in
a local hospital.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Laurel Heights Baptist
Church with Rev. C. C. Martin officiating.  Interment was in Sardis cemetery
under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Survivors include her husband, John T. Shelton, one son, Joe A. Shelton of
Mississippi, and two grandchildren; one brother, T. E. Jones of Bossier City;
three sisters, Mrs. Jim Norman of Coushatta, Mrs. Shirley Newman of Dallas,
Texas, and Mrs. Trevy Jones of Danbury, Texas.
