Funeral Rites For Mrs. Shirley Held Friday

Mrs. Hazel Shirley, 45, of Route 2, Dodson, died Thursday, February 3, 1972 at
12:15 a.m. at Martin Hospital in Winnfield after a long illness.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Shirley of Dodson; two sons, Robert
Wayne Shirley of Myrtle Beach, S. C., and Randolph Shirley of Dodson; three
daughters, Misses Martha Jane Shirley, Karen Shirley, and Charlotte Shirley,
all of Dodson; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Joles, of Corsicana, Texas;
five brothers, Telsey Joles, Spence Joles, Dawson Joles, James H. Joles,
and Steve Joles, all of Corsicana, Texas; four sisters, Mrs. Juanita Brister
of Winnfield, Mrs. Bankoe Roberts of Osceola, Fla., Mrs. Thelma Flores and
Miss Roxie Joles, both of Corsicana, Texas.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Southern Funeral
Home of Winnfield with Rev. Deloy Shows officiating.  Burial was in the Dry
Prong Cemetery.
