Funeral Rites For Cas M. Shirley Held

Cas M. Shirley, 55, of Winnfield, died at 1:30 p.m. Monday, September 7, 1970
in a Winnfield hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Myrtis D. Shirley of Winnfield; three
brothers, Burl Shirley and Alon Shirley, both of Winnfield, and Ernest Shirley
of Baton Rouge; four sisters, Mrs. E. B. Blair, Mrs. Myrtle McLemore, Mrs.
Zelma Dunn, all of Winnfield, and Mrs. Mildred Thornton of Huntington Beach,
Calif.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Zion Hill Baptist Church with
Rev. W. M. Harrell and Rev. E. B. Barton officiating.  Burial was in Zion Hill
Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.
