Mrs. Mollie Shirley, Succumbs to Attack Pneumonia Friday

Mrs. Mollie Shirley, wife of R. L. Shirley, died at her home on Route 4 last
Friday evening following a two week's illness of pneumonia.  Mrs. Shirley was
52 years and 45 days old, and a member of the Athens Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Saturday at Zion Hill conducted by the Rev. C. C.
Wilson of Monroe and interment made in the Zion Hill Cemetery.

The deceased is survived by her husband, R. L. Shirley, and eleven children,
C. J. Shirley, Urania, Harvey Shirley, Waterproof, Homer Shirley, Ferriday,
Birl, Alon, Zelma, Cas, Myrtle, Earnest, and Mildred Shirley, and Mrs. E. V.
Blair, of Winnfield.
