Winnfield, LA.
Mrs. Mary E. Shires, age 96 of Denison TX, passed away Sunday, June 13,
2004 at the Autumn Leaves Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in
Winnfield, LA.
Mrs. Shires was a homemaker and a member of the Denison Church of
the Nazarene.
Mrs. Shires is survived by: One Daughter: Marjorie Price of Winnfield
LA.; One Sister: Grace Fraley of Denison TX; One Son in law: Daniel S.
Wright of Sherman TX.; six grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren;
and six great great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Shires is preceded in death by: Her husband: Fred Joseph Shires;
Two Sons: Billy Mac Shires and Fred Donavin Don Shires; one Daughter:
Evelyn J. Wright; two brothers; six Sisters; and two Grandchildren
Friends may visit at the Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield LA on
Monday June 14, from 6 until 8PM. Friends may visit at the
Johnson-Moore Funeral Home in Denison TX on Tuesday from 7 until 8PM.
Funeral services will be 10AM Wednesday June 16, 2004 at the
Johnson-Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the
Gordonville Cemetery in Gordonville TX.
