Former Winn Resident Dies In Alexandria

Mrs. Hattie Basco Sholars, 71, of Tioga, formerly of Winnfield, died Sunday,
August 29, 1976, in Rapides General Hospital.

Survivors include her husband, J. R. Sholars of Tioga; five daughters, Mrs.
Dorothy Hunt of Dallas, Mrs. Morean Roberts of Tioga, Mrs. Sue Melancon of
Alexandria, Mrs. Bobbi Rennicke of Weiner, Ark., and Mrs. Sharon Brown of
Jonesboro; one son, H. C. Moorehead, Jr., of Alexandria; two sisters, Mrs.
Nellie Bumpus of Shreveport and Mrs. Leola Walker of Boyce; 10 grandchildren
and eight great grandchildren.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of John Kramer and Son. 
Burial was in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
