Death Claims Mrs. R. L. Shirley Friday Night

Mrs. Molly Shirley, wife of R. L. Shirley, died at the family home, Winnfield,
Route Four, Friday night at 12 o'clock, following an attack of influenza,
which developed into pneumonia.  Mrs. Shirley was 52 years and 45 days of age.
She was a member of the Athens Baptist Church and the mother of eleven
children.

Surviving are the husband and the following sons and daughters: Chris Shirley,
Urania; Harvey Shirley, Waterproof; Homer Shirley, Ferriday; Mrs. Mae Blair,
Alan, Birl, Zelma, Cas, Myrtle, Ernest, and Mildred, of Winnfield, Route Four.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Zion Hill,
with Rev. C. C. Wilson of Monroe in charge.
