Final Rites For Lannice Sherwood Friday, 10 A. M.

Funeral services for Lannice King Sherwood, 54, who died in a local hospital
at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 14, 1965, following an apparent heart attack
suffered in a downtown business a short while earlier, will be held at 10 a.m.
Friday in the Chapel of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Dr. W. L. Holcomb, pastor of the First Baptist Church, will officiate.  Burial
will be in the Jerusalem Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

A native of Grant Parish, Mr. Sherwood had followed the construction business
for the past 22 years, but had returned to Winnfield recently to reside in
the family home on North St. John Street.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. John Hyde of Pollock and Mrs. R. L. Dean of
Dry Prong; four brothers, C. E. Sherwood of Winnfield, W. C. of New Orleans,
Leck B. of Bridgeport, Conn., and A. H. of Texas City, Texas.
