Last Rites Held For Mrs. J. E. Shaw At Couley

Last rites for Mrs. J. E. Shaw, 50, of Couley, who took her life by drowning
Monday afternoon in a pool in the pasture at their home, were held at the
Couley Cemetery, Tuesday afternoon at 3:30.  The Rev. George McVey officiated.

Mrs. Shaw, who had been in ill health for some time, was a member of the
Couley Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband, J. E. Shaw, and one son, Hershel, of Couley, and
several brothers and sisters.
