Mrs. R. B. Silman, 83, Dies, Burial At Sardis March 2

Funeral services for Mrs. Reblee B. Silman, 83, who died Sunday in a Winnfield
hospital following a lengthy illness, were held March 2, at 10 a.m. at
Sardis Baptist Church.

Rev. E. B. Barton officiated with burial following in the Sardis Cemetery,
under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Winnfield.

Survivors include three sons, Daniel A. Spencer, Winnfield, Albert Spencer,
LaMeade, Calif., and Davis Silman, Beaumont, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. F. M.
Bishop, Winnfield, Mrs. Clyde LaCombe, Baton Rouge; and a sister, Mrs. Myrtle
Jowers, Colfax; two brothers, Walter Bird, Montgomery, and Richard Bird,
Bentley; eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
