Mrs. W. H. Simons Buried Near Sikes Monday, Nov. 28

Funeral services for Mrs. W. H. Goleman Simons, (Aunt Lue), 87, who died at
the home of her daughter, Mrs. B. W. Allen near Monroe, Nov. 27, were held
Nov. 28 at Fellowship Church with Rev. Hanner of Mt. Vernon Church near Monroe
officiating.  Burial was in Dothin Cemetery near Sikes.

She was the wife of the late W. H. Simons.  Surviving her are sons, Bunyan and
Dave of Sikes and Henry of Chatham; and daughters, Mrs. B. W. Allen, West
Monroe, Mrs. H. E. Barlow, Monroe, and Mrs. Ed Starnes, Winnfield; brothers
Tom and Jim Goleman of Rockwall, Texas and Beedie Goleman of Monroe.  Also
surviving her are 37 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren, and eight great-
great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were grandsons, J. M. and Huey Allen, Olles Simons, Marvis Simons,
Jessie Foster, and Winston May.
