Iley J. Simmons Of Algiers Succumbs

Funeral services for Iley J. Simmons, 67, of Algiers, La., were held in
Algiers the first part of August.  A native of Route 1, Dodson, Mr. Simmons
had been a resident of Algiers for more than 40 years.

He is survived by his wife and nine children; three brothers, W. M., J. H.,
and L. R. Simmons of Route 1, Dodson; three sisters, Mrs. Addie Brett, Conroe,
Texas; Mrs. Molly Kelly, Shreveport, and Miss Georgia Simmons of Route 1,
Dodson.
