Miss Jessie Sims of Gansville Dies at Hospital Monday

Miss Jessie Sims, daughter of Mrs. A. J. Taylor of Gansville, died at a
hospital in Shreveport Monday morning following an operation for appendicitis.
Funeral services conducted by theRev. C. S. Oden of Hilly were held at the
home of her mother in Gansville Tuesday afternoon and interment was made in
the Gansville Cemetery.

Miss Sims was a member of the Baptist church at Gansville and was an active
worker in all civic and church circles. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. A.
J. Taylor, one sister, Mrs. Ed Grisson of Oakdale, and a brother, Many Sims of
Gansville.
