Relatives Of Winn People Killed In Car-Truck Crash

Funeral services were held Sept. 5 in Baskin, La., for three victims of a
car-truck collision near Mangham late Labor Day night.  Two of the victims
were Mrs. Rob Simon, 60, and her daughter, Mrs. Helen Simon of Joyce, and was
also a relative of Mrs. Van Martin of Route 2, Winnfield.

The other victim of the crash was Eugene Aldridge Lawrence, Jr., driver of the
truck that apparently pulled onto the highway into the path of a car driven by
a Mrs. Duplissy.
