Singletary's Mother Died In Oberlin Friday Winnfield friends regret to learn of the death of Mrs. Elizabeth Minnie Singletary, mother of A. F. Singletary of Winnfield, which occurred at the family home in Oberlin last Friday. Funeral services were held Saturday at the Shiloh Cemetery. Mrs. Singletary was the mother of twelve children, nine of whom survive. She was a Gold Star mother, her son, Charles Singletary, having been killed in action in France. The children surviving are: Mrs. Rosa Houston, of Reids, Mrs. W. W. Boggs, of Grant, Misses Isabel and Tamar Singletary of Oberlin, Judge T. G. Singletary of Grant, John A. Singletary, of Alco, A. F. Singletary, of Winnfield, Prof. B. H. Singletary, of L. S. U. faculty, Baton Rouge, and A. H. Singletary of Oak Grove. Earl Singletary, of Baton Rouge, was raised by his grandmother.
